While many think watercolor is a good place to start, it's quite a challenge to master. Casey and I are proud to offer a variety of teachers and opportunities for us to meet and "dip our brushes" into this art.
Yes, technology has beautiful fonts, but it doesn't have that personalized touch. Casey's Art Box is fortunate to have Maggie Naylor break down this art into manageable strokes. And Dawn Vinson has shared her lettering AND art journaling technique. With multiple workshops, plus practice time to encourage each other this community is one to join.
For the kids ages 6-12ish new to art, join our Young Creative classes. Our Next Gen Artists class is geared for middle through high school students who have a passion for art and want to go deeper in their studies. The Art Club is a time dedicated to public, private, and homeschoolers (preferably middle through high) to meet up and share their artistic interests and abilities.
After more than twenty years teaching 5 through 18 year olds, Casey knows not only how to teach the a variety of skills different artists use, but more importantly how to understand and use the creative process. His classes and private lessons focus on the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design. Regardless of your age, ability, and experience, Casey can help you develop the confidence and ability to be creative.
Sharan Nelson has been leading oil painting groups for years and now she is offering her services HERE! You won't find a better deal! Attend her 5-week oil painting course and then join her Tuesday morning Open Studio painting sessions (9 am to noon), where she will be available for guidance and advice for only $20 per session.
Please note that classes, lessons, and local art must be purchased separately from art store purchases. These are exempt from the customer loyalty program. Thank you.

We believe that art has the power to bring people together. Casey's Art Box store serves four purposes: to provide quality fine art supplies, as a studio space for Casey's art, for the community to support local arts, and to give us a place to continue our passion for teaching and learning.
Casey's Art Box provides quality art materials to artists of all ages and skill levels. We aim to cater to your needs and will meet with you to discuss private orders.
Visit our "What's in Stock" page to see what all we carry!
Casey and I have been together since the 1993 Cooper Young Festival (though legally bound in 1996). Wrapping up our 45+ combined years as educators in the 901 district this past Spring, we took a leap and jumped into the world of small business.
Casey and I wanted a way to support local artists, and now we can! We are proud to announce we are selling other's art! We have acrylic paintings by Nancy Degan, watercolor pieces created by Kayla Seaton, and Casey is selling his work also! You can also improve your environment by giving those closest to you some of the scents provided by the Crooked Shack!
Hopefully, you'll be able to pick up local music soon.
Anyone around here selling any records?
